Toccoa, Georgia, is a special place. The land is beautiful. The community lives and plays outdoors, but what really makes this part of northeast Georgia attractive is the people. I have never met more open and kind hearted folks than the those who live, work, and play in this community. It is a historic area but it is also a community that is filled with one of the most meaningful parts of life—love and care for one another. It is a place where strangers wave without knowing you, and where neighbors always have open doors and open hearts. When you visit Stephens County, you are visiting "home" and a place were "the welcome" truly never ends.
